Singers are expected to have at least moderate training in vocal technique, sight-reading, musicianship and language studies. A little bit staging experience is preferable.
Applicants are required to prepare two pieces: (1) an operatic aria and (2) a self-chosen song. Both pieces should be within 10 minutes in total.
For the audition, Musica Viva will provide an accompanist at no charge to the applicant. The applicants may also choose to bring their own accompanist.

The next audition schedule will be posted on this website once it is available. Only short-listed applicants will be informed by e-mail at least one week prior to the audition. Musica Viva does not give post-audition feedback.
Successful applicants will be informed by e-mail and by phone at least one month before the production.
Completed applications can be sent by mail, by e-mail and by fax to Musica Viva Limited with the heading of “Musica Viva Audition Application”. All material sent becomes the property of Musica Viva and will not be returned.
