Overview

Clara Josephine Wieck Schumann was born in Leipzig on 13 September 1819. She is considered one of the finest pianists of the Romantic era and one of the most distinguished woman composers of all time. To celebrate the 200th Anniversary of her birth, Musica Viva respectfully presents a special chamber music recital of some of her most beautiful compositions. Featuring Hong Kong’s leading pianist Colleen Lee, violinist Jasmine Pang, cellist Xu Ting, and mezzo-soprano Carol Lin, in an exquisite and exciting programme to be performed at the CMA Lecture Theatre, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
